Today's Arrivals (Review Title: Damn, That's An Ugly Bottle)

Three new arrivals today, with one I was particularly excited about. Reviews (in my typical style) to follow..

Let's start out with the fragrance I've been waiting for..

Bateig Azul by Anfar London: Apparently, this is heralded as a pretty solid Pacific Chill dupe. On initial spray, the very forward synthetic mint threw me, but as it dries down? To quote Jacobin Mugatu, 'My God, it's beautiful.' - this is deep ocean waves with a hint of sweetness and on skin? Dang, man. It's good. Don't let the initial spray fool you. Overall rating? 10 out of 10. This slaps. Hard.

Al Haramain L'Aventure Knight: Green Irish Tweed fucking who? This is potent, and I can tell it's going to be nuclear with some strong staying power. It's fresh, with that perfect hint of spice and might just make you feel like there's a leprechaun with brass knuckles hiding in your pocket. Overall? 9.5 out of 10, but the cost-to-sniff ratio here is un-fucking-hinged.

Lattafa Ramz Silver: Oh good heavens to Betsy. Who the fuck let this bottle ever become a thing? It's awful. Whoever designed this bottle probably has to ask his family for forgiveness every year over the holidays. It's uglier than the person you woke up to after making a bet with your mate about who could do more shots of potato vodka. That said.. the fragrance inside? This is such a fucking good play in the Ultra Male space. It smells amazing, punching way above dupe weight, and it has staying power. For SEVENTEEN dollars. SEVENTEEN. Overall rating? I had to check my receipt twice to verify what I paid. 11 out of 10. This kind of value makes accountants weep.
