Anyone else find Journeymen saves to easy now?

My main saves each year usually consist of a journeyman. Now I’ve played the game and it’s various iterations for over 20 years but the past few years especially seem to be a breeze to reach the top. Anyone else experience this? I usually play it like a real career, I.e trying to reach higher level of club constantly & taking the offers best for my career. This year from starting in the South African second division and going through Korea with Pohang & Jeonbuk, I have been at Leverkusen for 18 month and easily won a treble (Bundesliga, Pokal, UEL) and have a Continental B badge. This is only 2028 in game an I always start Sunday league with 0 badges. Am I just suffering from being too experienced of have more rookie players had similar experiences?
