Reinstated only to be put on admin leave…

I’m part of the usda “reinstated” probationaries. Except we’ll allegedly be reinstated to then be immediately put on administrative leave until the 45 day investigation concludes. Afterwards we’ll be RIF’d. Is there any hope? I can’t afford a lawyer, can someone ask theirs about this?? Is there any hope of ever getting our jobs back? 😔
