Question about the MB on Chaos

I've been around for a little while but only recently got into selling endgame crafter/gatherer gear on the market board. I've been at it for a while now and am curious about something that I've noticed.

It seems that people buy from very specific people even when there are cheaper options, for the exact same item. It just makes me curious if there is some kind of agreement and I just didn't get the memo here or if it's just a coincidence.

Admittedly it's a little discouraging to try and make some money on the side, only to seemingly just get ignored no matter what I try, even attempted direct sales (I hope if I happened to run into you that you didn't mind xd)
