Discontinued Service Retirement vs. VERA? What's the difference?
My agency is offering VERA March 10-25, and I'm eligible. I want to hold the line and make them RIF me. My primary concern is obviously the differences between benefit rights' differences between the VERA and Discontinued Service Retirement (DSR). What are the main differences between VERA and DSR regarding annuities and health insurance? Plan on calling HR Monday but they will be slammed and Redditt seems the best place for real info.
