Book recs where the MMC is actually nice?

I used to enjoy the dark romance and abusive MMC just like the next person, but lately it’s not hitting anymore. I don’t know if it’s because I’m older now or perhaps I’ve read too many of them, but I can no longer fall in love with abusive MMCs or get into those stories. I would like romantasy book recs (open to other genres too) where the MMC is actually a nice person to the FMC. He can be a villain to others though.

Wishlist:

-No players/cheating. He can obviously have a previous love life, but if he is actively trying to fuck someone else in the book (ie Casteel in Blood and Ash) or is a major player (ie Tristan in Memory Puller) I can’t. It’s even worse if the FMC is some sort of prude or a virgin. I can’t.

-No rape-y behavior unless its VERY obviously CNC (ie Zade Meadows in Haunting Adeline).

-No beating up the FMC (ie Rowan in the Throne of Glass series), unless they are sparring or training.

-No abandoning the FMC even if it’s for “good” reasons (ie Edward in Twilight). That might not technically be abuse but it’s a personal trigger so I can’t.

That’s it. I am ok with kidnapping and stalking. 👍🏼🤡
