I need to talk about Powerful by Lauren Roberts

Because I just read it tonight after reading Powerless and Reckless last year and I don’t know anyone IRL who has read it and guys what the fuck was that??????

Like. I was really sitting here all hopeful and delulu thinking the whole time that maybe something was going to happen behind the scenes that we didn’t know about in Powerless, like maybe Mak pulled something with his powers at the last minute and saved Adena and her death was just an illusion, or something, but no, she just fleshed Adena out to be the most wholesome creature in the universe and gave her a precious budding love story and then just ripped out my fucking heart?! Because why???!!!!
