(For context, I'm mtf trans.) I was out today, and some guy came over to talk to me. Had a Bible open and I could already tell what he wanted. He crouched down next to where I was sitting and asked me my name in a gentle tone of voice, and I gave the name I usually give. He started his next sentence, "Well you know, that can be a boys' name or a girls' name..." and I simply cut him off and said, "Fuck off." I ignored him even when he tried saying, "Nice to meet you," until he left. Was that too much of a harsh response?
