What the actual fuck did I just witness

So i never really watch anime, but i heard about the story for this series and it just intruiged me. I just binged the whole series and watched end of evangelion. Cant decide if it was the most buetiful, horrific, sad or confusing movie ive watched but I absolutely loved it.

I love scifi and psychology, so this was perfect. Seeing that kids descent into madness really disturbed me, and I love it. Cant even sleep right now thinking about it.

I could really relate with shinji ikaris troubles with loneliness and self hatred. I seemed to form an attachment to him and all the other characters.

Man that ending of the movie was the craziest shit ive seen ever. Cant believe ive watched countless irl execution and gore shit, and that movie was the thing that truly hit me emotionally.

Anyways, I guess this is just an appreciation post. Cool show.
