new player: How do i get into EU4?

Eu4 is one of those games i always wanted to play but i have a hard time getting into playing. The main point of frustration to me is the overwhelming amount of complex yet crucial mechanics that i need to learn.

I also dont know if i should learn the game when Eu5 is around the corner

I play other PDX games euch as HOI4 and Stellaris. Outside of that i play 4X games such as Civilization 5 and Dune Spice wars by Shiro.
