Electrode Placement (male)

Just a beginner looking to understand where I should experiment with first - specifically with regular adhesive pads.

Oh and a question that might be overly simplistic but:

1.) These pads conduct electricity and thus, electricity travels through the body between one pad to the next, right? So the areas between the pads are stimulated as well? So far I only feel a lot of stimulation at the two points where the pads are located?

2.) When I use four pads, two channels - does the electricity specifically go from pad 1A to 1B or can it go from 1A to 2B? ie. Not necessarily from one intended point to the other?
