Does Rockstar Zero Carb Blue disappear every year for awhile?

My dad loves Rockstar but zero carb blue is the only flavor he can drink now because of its low salt content (55 as opposed to 250-350 for every other flavor). It seems to disappear from stores every year for awhile, has anyone else noticed this?

All the groceries in town don't have it and I can't get it from Amazon anymore, I had to break down and order 24 cans for $80 on Walmart from a third party seller.
