How was Christmas Eve at your store?

Ours was surprisingly slow… there was literally nothing to do at Omni. Barely any ship from store, I didn’t even work on a batch of 10 today. No ship alones, bopus was coming in every half hour if we were lucky…I was actually surprised. I was scheduled for a 7 hour shift and my h2 literally said I could go home if I wanted to like 30 minutes into the shift, but I didn’t go through the trouble of getting there for 30 minutes I mean that would have been a whole new record smh :) so I asked her if I could pull replenishment and then go when I finished that and she said ok. But there wasn’t even much in replenishment either. There weren’t as many customers as I expected even the cashiers were just standing around. Anyway between keeping an eye on replenishment, the occasional bopus, stockroom and department picks, and ship from store that were coming in I managed to secure at least 4 hours which is what I was hoping for at that point.

Later in the day I went to Target, and what a difference, the checkout lines were huge.
