Smells and nostalgia

Does anyone else every time you smell a specific smell it brings you back to when you were a child, and it just sends me into a state of anxiety and panic idk why. Sometimes it’s a smell that reminds me of a good time but sometimes it’s a smell that gives me a bad feeling even if it’s a good smell, idk how else to describe it!
