Question for emetophobic parents

Parents, have you successfully avoided the plague when your kids have gotten a stomach bug? My oldest woke up this morning vomiting and has retched about 4 times since and not brought much up, just bile and spit. He’s comfortably hanging out in his bedroom and I’ve been checking on him, but I had to clean up his room this morning. I’ve been bleaching and washing my hands. I’m surprisingly calm and I know that if I get sick, it won’t last, but I’d love to hear from anyone who has not caught it from their kids. I have two other kids (one a newborn) who are fine and I’d love to keep it that way!Thanks!
