Do you ever carry a second battery to extend/double your range?

Not sure if it’d be even be practical or easy to switch out on the road

Two bikes I’m interested in - Aventon Sinch 2 and Specialized Haul ST. Would these be easy to switch the battery over quickly?

Is using a secondary battery a viable option to double/extend range?
