Summer Cold Noodle | Don't have appetite in a hot day? I got you back

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 2 packs of instant noodle
  • Some green onion
  • 1-2 cloves of garlic
  • Some cilantro
  • White sesame seed
  • Sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp Sesame sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • Some red or white fermented bean curd (optional)
  • 1 tbsp Chinese spicy chili sauce or Laoganma (optional)
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • Salt
  • 1 tbsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tbsp red wine vinegar

Steps:

  1. Let's make the sesame sauce first. Add a little bit water to the sesame sauce, and stir it until it become dry. Add a little more water to it to make the sauce watery.
  2. Add red or white fermented bean curd (optional), Chinese spicy chili sauce (optional), 1 tsp red wine vinegar, 1 tbsp soy sauce, some oyster sauce and salt. Mix them well.
  3. Get another bowl, add in chopped garlic, green onion and cilantro and 1 tbsp red pepper flakes. Pour hot oil on them to make some chili oil.
  4. Boil some water to cook the instant noodle and egg. Put them in ice water after they are done cooking.
  5. Add the noodle into the sesame sauce, add in fried chili oil. Stir them well.
  6. Add on the hard boil egg, sprinkle some green onion, white sesame seed, cilantro, drizzle some sesame oil. I also add two dumplings
  7. Done! Time to eat!
