Lila Downs is a Mexican singer, born in the Mixteca indigenous region of Oaxaca to a Mixtec mother and American father.  I have always loved her music and even had the opportunity to see her live in Oaxaca some years back, an electric performance that has always stayed with me.  I just finished watching a marvelous audience Q and A session she had in Coyoacán, CDMX, and wanted to recommend it to folks here.  What sets it apart is that it is native content in which both Lila and all the audience members speak clearly and relatively slowly, such that it can probably be appreciated by everyone from level 4 on up, especially those interested in Mexican Spanish and culture.   Check it out.
