Dragon age Veilguard

So watching tiktok videos I realized that the game actually came out a while ago (I still thought it was being developed, impressive) and I had some doubts about the story since I don't have money for a PS5 and even less for the game , so here they go:

1.- First of all, does the inquisitor manage to stop Solas? I decided that I was going to save him, I didn't have a romance with him so it was purely about wanting to save a great friend

2.- just curious but I had a romance with Josephine, is she okay?

3.- Hawk and the Hero of Thedas mentioned, did they appear? Something?

4.- Varric is alive?

5.- Does this game maintain the great lore of the previous ones? Thanks ^{^} have much more but this are the ones i can think rn
