Update on getting diagnosed with terminal lung cancer at 22
First of all, thank you everyone for your support. I didn't expect that but I really appreciate you guys.
I talked to my SO and family a couple of hours ago. It was a tough decision, but I'm going to terminate my pregnancy. After that, the doctors will put me on palliative chemo to ease the symptoms.
I've always been afraid of death and it may sound strange, but now I feel relieved? The future doesn't look blurry for the first time in my life. I'm sad about not living long enough to start a family and see my kids grow up, but at the same time... I can plan whatever time I have left and I can spend it with my family and friends. My boyfriend also suggested that I write a list of all my unfinished business and things that I want to try. My biggest dream has always been to travel abroad. I guess I won't be able to do that while on chemo but there are quite a few places here in France that I really want to visit.
Well, that's enough for this time. I might not post as often as the next couple of weeks are going to be super busy, but I will try to give you guys an update soon.
See you next time!
