simple skin care?

My depression keeps me from doing the simplest tasks before bed and in the morning, such as washing my face and putting on skin care essentials. Wearing a mask and stress has made my skin terrible but I can't seem to find the right routine or products that I will consistently use. Why is it so hard to wash my face and put on some oil or lotion? But when it comes to it, I just wont do it. Looking for any tips or recommendations that have worked for others.
