SkyTeam to Relax Lounge Access Policies for Domestic Elite Plus Travelers?
As we all know, current SkyTeam member airline lounges are accessible to non-first or business class SkyTeam Elite+ members when they’re traveling internationally, or domestically to connect to an international flight.
In mid 2024, SkyTeam said it would review its lounge access policies. Today, China Eastern (MU) just announced this to its Eastern Miles members:
Starting 4/1/2025, these SkyTeam member airlines lounges at the following airport will be accessible to Elite Plus members on domestic flights:
AF: CDG, ORY, BOD, GVA, BOS, IAD, IAH, JFK, SFO, LAX KLM: IAH GA: CGK, DPS KQ: NBO MU: SHA, PVG SK: ARN, CPH, EWR, GOT, OSL, ORD
Although this announcement from MU is directed to its own members, I believe this policy change is applicable to all SkyTeam airline members. However, I have not been able to find any other sources on this.
