OMG new first class is awful
Live stream of my flight from my head -
The announced when we boarded our flight that we were only the second group of passengers to EVER fly on this Airbus A321NEO! Wow! AND I got a first class upgrade? Score! So much winning! And I must admit - it is in good shape. No weird scratches or gouges or...
But woah is this thing uncomfortable. My butt is fast asleep. The gap between the seats is tiny, getting in-and-out from the window feels like I'm in basic economy.
Did I mention how incredibly uncomfortable it is just to remain seated?
Oh no...the person in front of me reclined...the tiny gap for getting out to the aisle has gone from economy to "Microbus in Costa Rica."
The bluetooth connection to the TV is pretty epic though! And the screen is gorgeous.
Seriously though, did any Delta execs actually try sitting in one of these chairs for a few hours before they approved them? How do you fail at "make the bottom of the seat comfortable to sit in" when approving a new product like this?
It reminds me of that story of how American approved new international lay flat seats that totally sucked, and it later turned out that nobody involved in the approval had ever tried to sleep on one.
I miss Alaska. Those seats are little sitting on little fluffy clouds.
I can't tell if I prefer my butt being numb, or painfully uncomfortable.
Ooo, they have Moana....
