Delhiites love to complain—but does it lead to change?

Every day, we talk about corruption, broken roads, encroachments, garbage, and failing infrastructure. Frustration runs so deep that many say they'd leave India if they could. But venting to friends or ranting online won’t fix the problem—action will.

That’s where Delhi Complaint, an X (formerly Twitter) community, comes in. It’s a space where residents highlight real issues—illegal parking, open manholes, non-functional streetlights, cable thefts, and more—and tag the right authorities to demand action. Many problems persist simply because they aren't reported in the right way.

An example of how the OP got a patch of road resurfaced by tagging the concerned authority is attached to this post.

Yet, in a city of 20 million people, fewer than 360 have joined this initiative. Imagine the impact if even a fraction of Delhiites took part. More voices mean more pressure, and more pressure forces action.

So, instead of letting another civic issue ruin your day, report it where it matters. Join Delhi Complaint, raise your voice, hold authorities accountable, and be part of the change Delhi desperately needs.
