Random appreciation post for "Needles and Pins"

The transition from Hexagram is flawless in of itself (AMAZING album opener jesus) as the bass riff comes rearing in with just the drums, that's truly the definition of hype rt. Chino's voice with that weird little filter is extremely fitting for the first verse, and then explodes with the ambiguous screaming in the background as the chorus hits.

But my favorite part is the very end, repeated line "who wants to fuck with us NOWWWWW" and what sounds like laughing as it's fading out? Idk. That....gets me. Truly chilling in the best way. I think of the song as like a darker version of "Back to School", where he is literally back to school but almost going crazy/delusional with this insane power trip that's all in his head, maniacally laughing himself into psychosis as the intensity fades out. Idk I'm sure there's some other meaning to the song but that's how I like to look at it, 10/10 cut for me this shit never gets old
