How come post match chat isn't available for consoles?

As the title says, why isn't the post game chat available for consoles? I mean, I get that us console players would take a long time to write longer sentences n stuff, but I always like to at least write gg or something after a game, but that's something I'm completely locked out of in dbd. Games like Overwatch allow it, so why wouldn't DBD?
