I haven't seen a single MKII in months

Has it been removed? I've played a lot of DayZ lately after having a 5 or 6 month break and I've not seen a single one, not in spawn towns near the coast, not a little bit more inland and not even at whatever airfield it is that I'm currently at. I play this game with the woman quite a bit and mentioned it to her yesterday, she's not seen one either.

I have had a look online but the latest mention of it I can find is from 7 months ago and the games been updated since then
