Before and after going on r/curlyhair…
I sometimes see posts where people are really worried if their hair is salvageable after heat damage so I thought l'd share some before and after pictures :] For context I straightened my hair regularly throughout my teen years, probably around once a week for 8-9 years. My hair was totally fried by the time I got to uni and that's when the first picture was taken. It's been 3 years of minimal heat and a regular haircare routine and this is what my wash-and-go looks like after 8 days.
