1500 gem pack alternative

It's always told that the 1500 gem pack has the best value but I disagree. I think it's only available on Tuesdays but last Tuesday a 3 for 2 pack containing 3 packages with 10 guaranteed limiteds was for 240 gem, meaning you can open 6 of that and get 180 limiteds, if you're not terribly unlucky you'd get 5-6 limlegs and 9-10 limited epics etc. Isn't it the best value? I'm saving up my gems for that pack now, got 700 atm, will get another 250 on Monday cuz I'm dragon. PS: I'm new
