Finally found a character I might be able to cosplay but unsure how to start

So I'm a 6'2" trans woman with broad shoulders and to say there are few characters out there I feel I could cosplay well is an understatement. But with the popularity of Baldurs Gate 3 and the introduction of my girl Karlach I think I finally have someone I could realistically dress up as.
The problem being that with her red skin, horns, glowing chest, vents in her shoulders, horns, and all the little details I think this is not for the first time cosplayer. Is there a way for me to learn the more basic stuff like makeup, body suits and whatnot but find a cosplay expert to purchase the more complicated prosthetics from? I have a t-shirt that is meant for Tony Stark cosplay with a glowing arc reactor, maybe I could repurpose thatm. Probably need a wig as my hair is not the same color as hers. How hard would something like this be? Should I start with something easier?
