Trip to Cork next week

Got back yesterday. Thank you all for the suggestions! We went to Dungarvan to see where gfs dad’s house he was born in it. Went to Waterford and the Crystal factory. Went to Cobh and the titanic exhibition, the cathedral and the ‘deck of cards’ (that hill killed me!), didn’t stop at Fota because the weather was grim Got good at the buses! Proud owner of a Leap card now lol! Sun came out on Friday for our trip to Blarney Castle and I proposed in front of the castle and she said yes! It was perfect so thank you for the recommendation! Saw the place my Nan was born, turned out to be a short walk from the hotel! Saw Shandon tower but after all the walking and hills decided would save the bells for another trip! Also had lots of great food and drink and spontaneous trad music! Never made it to Wilde or Nudes lol, we were just too shattered and the weather wasn’t encouraging Amazing trip, thank you all again Can see how to add photo sorry

Hi all Me and my girlfriend are visited Cork next week for 4 nights staying at the Maldron Hotel South Mall. We are a lesbian couple and I plan to propose on Valentine’s Day while we are there! We want to visit some must see places nearby (public transport or short taxi rides only) and one trip to Dungarven which is where my gfs dad is from. Any recommendations of where to go and what to do? Many thanks!
