Where to buy a dress/gown?

Hello friends,

I need a nice, somewhat fancy (nothing too crazy but still pretty dressy), dress/gown. I know about Lilly but they don’t have a very large collection outside of wedding dresses. Any advice on stores that has nice dresses? (Shouldn’t be just an online shop since I’d like to try on before buying).

ANY help is much much appreciated.
