Is this possible to fix? (Switch Lite)
Hi all!
I've done many Switch Lite shell swaps and came across something unexpected (it was bound to happen at some point). After disconnecting the battery, and unlocking the ribbon cable near it, the ribbon cable latch detached as if it was never locked in the first place. It looks like some of the pins are bent, and I also noticed what looks like a short on one of the pins. As far as I know, this switch has never been opened before.
So now, not only can I not reattach the ribbon cable by any method I know of, I'm not sure it'd even power on at this point. Is there any way of fixing this (meaning, by someone who is more experienced than I am)?
And yes, the risks of opening up the console were well known beforehand. I'd just like to know if there is a way that it can be fixed, or if I'm SOL.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
