What's a good level for cathedral area?

I'm currently level 42 using the atlas blood code. I'm afraid of overleveling cuz I dont want another instance of me not being able to gain anymore gift xp although I've mastered every gift from every class up until this area.

My attack is fine, I got about 1.1k attack with oni bane and loading up on str passives and two hand sword mastery but I feel like I dont have enough hp. Knights here are tougher mainly cuz I'm so use to backstabbing and they have smaller frames and are more nimble, I'm not great at partying either
