Success/ Happy Experiences?

I know the state of the industry is tough with continuous disappointments and grievances, but wondering if anyone has any positive experiences or success stories to share within the industry? The state of the subreddit is so doom and gloom currently (for many good reason I acknowledge) but hoping to brighten it up a bit.
