Any advice for someone stuck in 200-300 elo?

I'm fairly new to chess, started learning this January actually but I've stagnated on 200-300 elo. Whenever I go above this level I get completely thrashed by other players lol. What trips and tricks do you guys have? Especially mid-game plays?
