Online Claims About Possible Abuse of Internet Famous Cat (DouDou/Oye)

Hey everyone! I just wanted to gather opinions on this topic as I saw someone talking about it on TikTok, and I do not know anyone else in my life that would have any information or input.

In the comments of a reposted cat video, I saw an individual commenting several times about their worries regarding the health of an internet famous cat that was pictured. The cat they are referring to is DouDou/Oye, or sansanmaoer on Instagram. In their comments they kept reiterating that they believe DouDou’s owner is abusing her, even possibly involving SA. I was flabbergasted by this as I love DouDou and had never had any inkling that something was going wrong (not like we can assume anything for sure over social media videos). 

This person was insistent that DouDou’s owner is petting around her tail and purposefully leaving her hand on her bottom/privates to elicit a reaction from the cat. Now from the video this person posted, to me it just looks like normal petting down the back to the tail? Maybe that one video was not great evidence and the commenter was just trying to spread awareness, but I really would have never thought this was a possibility until I saw it brought up in those comments.

The reason I’m posting is because I was to see if other people share the same sentiment as the TikTok commenter I came across. I would hate to continue supporting and liking content that is abusive to DouDou. I don’t know anyone else in my personal life that would have an opinion, let alone know who DouDou is.

Thanks for taking the time to read, especially with such a touchy subject as possible abuse. I just really am unsure of where these claims were founded, and I would hate to be oblivious to such a thing just because I personally cannot find proof. I would also hate to stop supporting an account due to unfounded and BS claims.
