So, if we ever get a new game...

Ever since the show took over the world with it's amazing fight scenes and beautiful animation, more and more people started getting into the series. This has been a blessing for a fandom that had been starving for years, but it also comes with a few questions for me.
I think Konami is in a point where not making a new Castlevania game would be a huge mistake. The franchise is more recognizable than ever, metroidvanias/igavanias are extremely famous and the shows really helped boost the brand recognition, so if they made a new game it would be an instant hit...

But, how would it work? Would it be a return to form? An igavania? Would Igarashi even ve involved?

And what about the plot? Would it focus on the main line? A new canon? Would it follow the shows' canon?

If it IS on the main canon from the games, should some things be added/changed to incorporate some of the shows' additions?

There's many possibilities, and I know we all would have different opinions and preferences, but I'm really interested on what you guy have to say.
