PR seekers, what are your motives?

We've read a lot about how Canada is not the same anymore. How it's hard to find a job, how the cost of living is going through the roof. Yet, we still have a thriving community on here, most hoping for an ITA/PR approval. What is your motivation to continue and go through this journey?
