Can someone please explain why there's such a large amount of hate for Alberta on r/canada?

Any time a discussion about the country breaks out, especially about GDP and/or the economy, it seems like a lot of people join together to put Alberta down and I just can't seem to understand why. I'd just like some clarification as to why this happens so often and why it is acceptable. Cheers!
