Possible Hot Take: Ground Beef is the premier protein for cheeseburgers.
At 94 yo, I have come to realize that Ground Beef is the best protein for a regular burger. I have gone years thinking chicken…sometimes turkey…or that any fancier protein is better…but it’s not (imo). Ground Beef is just the perfect complement to the buns and condiments. Pair it with Cheddar Cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion and it’s the perfect burger. I don’t even like Ground Beef on normal sandwiches, but it turns to magic fairy Grease dust when on a patty. Thoughts?
