My case pc power button takes like 40+ presses before it actually works.

I have a Phanteks 300A case and the pc power button on it sucks. I have to hold the button down for 20 seconds, press it a dozen times before the pc actually decides to boot up. Could it be that my wiring is wrong, or is the button just crap? Is there any other methods to turning the pc on that don't require me to open the pc up?
