Overhauling my gaming PC

Hello,

I built my gamer PC in 2017. It had very high end specs for the time. Oh how have the mighty fallen. With the money I spent to build a high end specs PC in 2017 I cannot build a medium specs PC in 2025.

I've been playing Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and the game significantly lags and stutters.

These were the specs:

  • Gigabyte GA-Z270-HD3P
  • Intel Core I7-7700K 4.2GHz BOX
  • Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 WindForce OC 8GB GDDR5
  • G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4 3000 PC4-24000 16GB CL15
  • Tacens Mars Gaming Vulcano 750W 80 Plus Silver Modular
  • Noctua NH-D15S
  • Samsung 850 Evo SSD Series 250GB SATA3
  • Toshiba DT01ACA200 2TB SATA3 64MB
  • ASUS TUF Gaming VG27AQ
  • NOX Hummer ZN USB 3.0
  • Windows 11

I made a post two days ago asking for help updating my PC and the wonderful folks advised me so well that they convinced me to do a complete revamp.

This is what I bought:

  • Gigabyte X870 EAGLE WIFI7
  • AMD Ryzen 9 7900 3.7/5.4 GHz Box
  • Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER GAMING OC 16GB GDDR6X DLSS3
  • Corsair Vengeance DDR5 6400MHz 32 GB 2x16GB CL32 for AMD
  • Samsung 990 Pro 2TB Disco SSD 7450MB/S NVMe PCIe 4.0 M.2 Gen4

I bought R9 7900 because basically it was the same price as R7 7700x. I prefer it over the R9 7900x. I also bought the 4070 Ti SUPER GAMING because I found it cheaper than the Ti SUPER WINDFORCE. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm not willing to wait for the 5070, as I fear they'll be so much more expensive than the 4070 Ti I found. Besides, I'll be building my new principal PC on autumn, this will be my SECONDARY PC.

I just want to make sure that there are no major incompatibilities between the components and that my Tacens Mars Gaming Vulcano 750W 80 Plus Silver Modular will provide enough voltage for it, while the Noctua NH-D15S will be enough for cooling.

I can return all the parts so I'm open to advice.

I'm planning on buying a new PC in a few months time while leaving this PC at my parents house. I'd like for it to be useable for occasional gaming and to be able to not update it in another 7 and a half years. I basically play c-RPGs and a-RPGs and Crusader Kings 3.

Thank you so so much for your time!
