How much worse is FSR compared to DLSS nowadays? Upgrading already?

Hello guys,

how much worse is FSR compared to DLSS nowadays? I've been out of the loop for a while but historically I try to enable fsr/dlss in every game that I can. Got a 7800 XT 1,5 years ago and I feel a bit frustrated with it. Because every other game I tried only supports an outdated version of FSR while supporting the newest version of DLSS or not supporting FSR at all while supporting DLSS4 (several VR upscaling mods).

Imo FSR 2 even at 4k in quality mode doesnt look great and I'm not even that sensitive with graphics. But I cant compare it currently with dlss.

I'm thinking about switching to Nvidia again, but upscaling plays a big role in the decision. Does DLSS look much better than FSR in your opinion ?
