am4 vs am5 for competitive gaming (in my particular case)

I'm about to build a pc (i don't have one), currently i've stopped myself on an am4 build since i don't play any demanding singleplayer AAA games and wanted to just not spend too much. Setup in mind is 5700x3d & rtx4070.

Would you advice me to drop down GPU to something the anemic rx6600 or rtx3060 but go with7800x3d on am5 and later just grab a new GPU?

I just want to play CS2, Valorant and stuff like that on 300+ fps
