My GPU goes off at 77 deg C

Hi,

I have a PC:

  • Ryzen 5900X

  • RTX 3080

  • ASUS Prime X570-P

  • Lian Li Galahad II LCD AIO

  • NZXT H9 Flow

  • 32 GB Ram

I recently changed the case and AIO because of a thermal issue, but I still have some problems.

My CPU and GPU temperatures are not that bad. CPU is around 50~60, and GPU is around 60~70 during gaming.

I noticed that when my GPU goes over 77 deg C, my screen turns off and I have to restart the PC. (PC is still powered, but screen won't come back until I restart.)

Initially my GPU fans were not at max speed until 80 deg C, so I change that to 65 and right now I try to keep it under 75 deg.

But still, I sometimes heat GPU up to 80, which should be fine, but my screen goes black at 77 deg C.

Is there some setting that I can change for the thermal threshold?

I don't really understand what triggers my GPU to do this. I tried GPU tweak 3, MSI Afterburner, and looked for some BIOS setting but couldn't find it yet.

Thank you.
