A way to stand out to our pitch/application: Make it more about the client and less about yourself. Here's how to frame it.
Imbes kasi na puro "I have this and that experience" o "I know this and that" o "I am knowledgeable in this and that", ang kailangan ay i-frame natin yun sa paano makaka-benefit sa client.
Kasi isipin mo, sa 100+ applicants, puro pare-parehas nababasa yun ganyan na "me, myself, and I" eh di nagiging forgettable ang pitch natin.
Two ways how to frame our strength:
1.) What value can you add to your client's business?
2.) What problems can you subtract to your client's business?
Here's an example:
"Do you want to increase your productivity for your business while having more personal time? Plus, you're not worrying anymore about getting burn out and missing deadlines. I can help you with my (insert experience, expertise, skills, etc)."
value added = increase productivity, more personal time
problems subtracted = no more worrying about getting burn out, no more missing deadlines
Feel free to tweak, edit, and think more of ways how to get the attention of your potential premium client with this approach.
I have been sharing this to friends, colleagues, and even newbies sa freelance.
At syempre kapag good impression naiwan natin, we can work with more premium clients who respect our time, our skills, and our rates.
Hope this helps dahil saturated man ang market, may chance pa rin tayo mag-stand out.
