I reached my salary goal last year

Early Last year, I prayed to God na sana mareach ko yung 6digits salary. I’ve been freelancing since 2022, roughly 3 years pa lang. I left Corpo World and started freelancing with just an 18k salary. Gradually, I added more clients habang nagagamay ko yung work. My salary raises too. And last year, days before my birthday I got hired by a very premium client na sobra bait, sobra generous, helpful, and understanding. Lahat na. I can’t believe it. He is the best employer anyone can have. I am lucky.

But don’t be fooled, dumaan din ako sa previous client na greedy, kuripot, late mgpasahod at kung ano ano pa bago ko napunta sa present employer ko. Pero pinagtyagaan ko.

For context, nasa digital marketing and writing niche ako. This is not to brag pero gusto ko lang may mapagsabihan. I am happy about my financial goal. I am earning more or less $2k per month. Hinde pa to sobra laki but for me this is enough for now.

Hinde ko sinasabi sa family ko yung salary range ko kasi una ayoko magyabang at pangalawa ayoko maging cashcow nila. I came from a not well-off family. I provide for them pagdating sa food and billings sa house. I am also a single mom.

My next goal is to save at least 1m to buy myself and my kid a house this year. In cash. And to think na naabot ko yung goal na un just by working at home while being a single parent in just a span of 1 year, makes me silently proud of myself. I don’t just dream but I am actively working to achieve the dream. All praise to God! He made it happen 🙏
