First time using the Gcash Visa card, but the money didn't dispense from the ATM

I've been using PayPal for client payments, and I find transferring the money to GCash really convenient due to its real-time process. That's why I decided to get a GCash Visa card.

However, my first attempt to withdraw ₱5500 via a BDO ATM didn't go smoothly. I encountered an error during the process, but the amount still got deducted from my GCash account. GCash immediately notified me about the withdrawal, which was frustrating, especially since I'm a first-time user and that’s not a small amount.

I rushed to the bank to report the issue, but they directed me to contact GCash. Unfortunately, there's no option to speak to a customer service representative directly, it's all automated. I managed to escalate my concern and got a ticket reference number. They mentioned it could take 2-3 days to revert the amount or up to 10 days for further investigation.

Honestly, this experience has made me reconsider using the card again. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Or perhaps knows of a faster way to transfer money from PayPal? Appreciate any insights or advice.
