Train from Goodna to the city

I need to go to the city and be there by 8am this week and I was wondering if I should drive or take the train? Plan was to park at goodna and then the train. Anyone knows if there is enough car parks at goodna park and ride during the week and if my car will still be there when I am back? Or should I drive to another station closer and then take the train? Thanks
